Welcome to Site Veritas. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Site Veritas

Site Veritas provides website makeover, website design, website maintenance, and related digital services for businesses.

2. Quotes & Project Estimates

All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Pricing is based on the information provided during the consultation. Additional requests outside the agreed project scope may require a revised quote.

3. Project Scope

Each project includes only the services outlined in the approved proposal or invoice.

Any additional pages, revisions, features, integrations, or services requested after work begins may be considered outside the original scope and billed separately.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide requested content, images, branding assets, and login credentials in a timely manner.
  • Review submitted work promptly.
  • Approve designs or revisions within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Ensure they have permission to use any content, images, logos, or trademarks supplied to Site Veritas.

Project delays caused by missing content or delayed approvals may extend project timelines.

5. Payments

Projects require payment according to the agreed invoice or proposal.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Projects under $1,000 require full payment before work begins.
  • Larger projects may require a deposit before work begins with the remaining balance due prior to website launch.
  • Late payments may delay project completion.

6. Revisions

Each Website Makeover includes a reasonable number of revisions as outlined in your proposal.

Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

7. Website Launch

A website is considered complete once:

  • Final approval has been received, or
  • The website has been published at the client's request.

After launch, additional changes beyond hosting and maintenance may be billed separately.

8. Hosting & Maintenance

Every website built by Site Veritas, including websites built at no charge, requires hosting and maintenance at $129 per month. Site Veritas hosts these websites on Vercel.

Hosting and maintenance is billed monthly, month-to-month, with no long-term contract.

Hosting and maintenance includes:

  • Website hosting
  • Software updates
  • Security monitoring
  • Website backups
  • Technical support
  • Online appointment booking
  • Contact form submissions
  • Email and SMS lead notifications
  • Customer appointment confirmations and reminders once messaging is approved

If a client wants to move their website to their own hosting provider, a one-time migration fee of $250 applies.

Site Veritas reserves the right to modify hosting and maintenance features with reasonable notice.

9. Third-Party Services

Websites may utilize third-party services including but not limited to:

Website hosting, Domain registrars, Email providers, Payment processors, Analytics tools, Plugins, Themes

Site Veritas is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, security incidents, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

10. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment:

  • The client owns the website content they provide.
  • The client receives ownership of the completed website design unless otherwise agreed.

Site Veritas retains ownership of:

Proprietary processes, Internal design systems, Templates, Reusable code, Documentation

Site Veritas reserves the right to display completed projects within its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Client Content

Clients are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and ownership of all submitted content.

Site Veritas is not responsible for copyright violations arising from client-provided materials.

12. Limitation of Liability

Site Veritas provides professional website services but does not guarantee:

Search engine rankings, Increased sales, Increased traffic, Lead generation, Business growth, Specific financial results

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Site Veritas shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services.

13. Cancellation

Either party may terminate a project in writing.

If work has already begun:

  • Payments made are non-refundable for work already completed.
  • Any completed work remains the property of Site Veritas until outstanding balances have been paid in full.

14. Website Availability

While every effort is made to maintain website availability, Site Veritas cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to hosting providers, maintenance, internet outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

15. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to These Terms

Site Veritas may update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication.
